I could be accurately described as buoyant, imaginative, terribly dressed, open-minded, humorous, community-oriented, ethically non-monogamous, overly literal, more interested in hanging out with animals than people, and often “wow, shorter than i expected.”

I’ve been in a committed relationship with the dude on the left for 24 years, but everyone thinks we’re brothers because we joke-punch each other in public more often than we smooch.

We have four pets between us:

• Watson the PTSD-stricken rescue chihuahua mix
• Luci the totally chill nightmare swamp demon (“cat”)
• Juniper the intuitive, high-energy American Staffordshire Terrier rescue
• and her brother Cedar, who is exactly as dumb as Juniper is smart. In his defense, he’s very, very pretty
